Probo for PC — Run the App on Windows or Mac
There’s no dedicated Probo desktop program. What actually works is running the Android app inside an emulator, giving you a bigger screen and a mouse-and-keyboard setup for browsing markets.
Why there’s no direct PC version
Probo is built and maintained as a mobile-first app, so there’s no native Windows or macOS build to download directly — an emulator is the practical workaround.
Bigger screen
Read market details and price movements more comfortably than on a small phone display.
Keyboard input
Faster typing for account details, OTPs, and searching for specific markets.
No battery drain
Keep it open in the background while working without worrying about phone battery.
Which emulator should you use
BlueStacks
The most widely used Android emulator for Windows and Mac, with a straightforward setup process.
- Good balance of speed and stability
- Simple Google account sign-in
- Large community, easy to find help
NoxPlayer
A lighter alternative that works well on older or lower-spec PCs.
- Lower RAM usage than BlueStacks
- Good for basic browsing and predictions
- Windows only
LDPlayer
Built with a gaming focus, but works fine for regular apps like Probo too.
- Fast boot time
- Frequent updates
- Windows only
Minimum PC requirements
Installing Probo on PC via BlueStacks
Download and install BlueStacks
Get it from the official BlueStacks website and run through its standard installer.
Launch BlueStacks and sign in with Google
This gives you access to the Play Store inside the emulator.
Download the Probo APK
Since Probo isn’t on the Play Store, grab the APK from our APK download page using the emulator’s built-in browser.
Drag the APK file into BlueStacks
Most emulators let you simply drag-and-drop the downloaded APK onto the emulator window to install it.
Open Probo and sign in
Register or log in with your phone number or email, same as on mobile.
Common emulator issues
The emulator runs slowly or lags
Close other heavy programs running in the background, and check that virtualization (VT-x/AMD-V) is enabled in your PC’s BIOS settings — most emulators need this for good performance.
OTP verification isn’t arriving
Since the emulator isn’t a phone, SMS OTPs go to your actual phone number’s device, not the PC. Check your phone for the code, or use email-based OTP if the app offers it.
Dragging the APK file doesn’t install it
Open the emulator’s built-in file manager or browser instead, navigate to the downloaded file, and tap it directly to install.
Can I run Probo on Chromebook instead?
Yes, if your Chromebook supports Android apps natively through the Play Store settings, though Probo will still need to be sideloaded via APK the same way as on Android phones.
